There's a new Pilates studio in town. Pilatika Pilates has officially opened its doors and after taking a class yesterday I can confidently say this is one of the best Pilates experiences in Toronto right now. I live about an hour away so I truly wish I was closer because the workout was absolutely phenomenal.

Pilatika is already known for its precise, body activating workouts and this new Yorkville location delivers that same signature burn. I have been a fan of Kayla, the founder, ever since I discovered her on social media. I watched her build her first Montreal studio and the moment she announced a Toronto location it became an immediate need to go. The studio itself is beautiful and intimate. With only five reformers in the room every class feels curated and personal. The equipment is top of the line and the space is designed with intention, creating a calm and focused environment from the moment you walk in.

The instructors are incredible. They cue every movement with such clarity that you never feel lost. Each position is explained in a way that helps you understand the why behind the move and how to engage the right muscles. It is the kind of teaching that elevates your practice regardless of your level.
