There is a version of wellness that is loud and performative, and then there is the kind that quietly holds your life together. The kind that does not need to be optimized or posted about. The kind that works because it is simple, repeatable, and rooted in self trust. These are the habits I come back to when I want to feel grounded, regulated, and like myself again.
At the core of my routine is weekly juicing. Nothing complicated. Ginger shots for digestion and immunity. Green juice for nourishment. Celery juice when my body asks for it. It is less about rules and more about rhythm. The same goes for movement. Morning or evening walks, depending on the day. I do not overthink it. I let walking be exactly what it is meant to be.
I keep a separate savings account that I do not hesitate to take money out of. It is completely separate from living expenses and exists for one reason only. To allow me to seamlessly invest in things that are worth it. Pieces, experiences, and rituals that genuinely add value to my life. Having this account removes friction and guilt. It gives me permission to say yes to quality, longevity, and self care without disrupting my sense of stability.
Once a week, I will use a sheet mask, usually on a quiet night when there is nothing else to do but slow down. Saturday nights are reserved for solo steak nights. A small ritual that feels grounding, nourishing, and quietly luxurious. Every morning starts with coconut cult, followed by whatever skincare feels supportive that day. Some mornings that means eye patches, especially when I feel like elevating the day before it even begins.
I listen to my body when it comes to workouts and classes. Some days call for movement, others for rest, and I trust that both are productive. I do not force a cleanse if my skin feels sensitive. Sometimes micellar water is enough. I only use one serum at a time. Less noise, better results.
None of these habits are revolutionary on their own. But together, they create a life that feels steady, cared for, and intentional. This is what wellness looks like for me. Not perfection, not excess, but consistency. The kind that quietly holds everything together.
